Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Swainsboro). They put the hurt on the Montgomery County Eagles with a sharp 6-1 win on Monday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Swainsboro's offense was hitting Montgomery County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Natalya Sannicolas led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Swainsboro's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Montgomery County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Swainsboro will be playing at home against Woodville-Tompkins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Treutlen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
