Soccer Game Preview: Palmetto vs. Bishop Moore

The Palmetto Tigers will take on the Bishop Moore Hornets at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Palmetto's tournament run continued when they took on Lake Buena Vista on Thursday. Palmetto sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Lake Buena Vista.

Meanwhile, Bishop Moore waltzed into their game on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They never let the Hawks onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering the Hornets have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bishop Moore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those 11 games. As for Palmetto, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-2.

Palmetto took their victory against Bishop Moore in their previous meeting back in December of 2016 by a conclusive 5-1. Does Palmetto have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bishop Moore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
