The Cannelton Bulldogs had to endure a 15-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They welcomed the New Year with a 24-18 victory over Frederick Fraize. That looming 24-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cannelton yet this season.
Bria Garrett was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her.
Cannelton's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-14. As for Frederick Fraize, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
