Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Luz De Luna and Jaleiyah Ray Lead Lathrop to Victory + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kimball, Lathrop was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 19-13 victory over the East Union Lancers.

Leading Lathrop to victory were JaLeiyah Ray and Luz De Luna. Ray picked up 141 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while De Luna threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt. Ray didn't just play on offense: she also made four total tackles and defended one pass.

The win got Lathrop back to even at 1-1. As for East Union, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lathrop will head out to square off against Manteca at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Union, they will venture away from home to take on Ripon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
