Basketball Recap: Royse City Comes Up Short

Royse City suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Friday. They lost 40-20 to the North Forney Falcons. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Royse City has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for North Forney, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Longview the next time they take the court. North Forney will head out to face Longview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Royse City will host them at 6:30 p.m. on January 10th.
