Basketball Recap: Doane Academy Takes a Loss

Doane Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 72-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nottingham Northstars.

Doane Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Nottingham, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-13.

Doane Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-57 victory against Palmyra on the 5th. As for Nottingham, they will head out to square off against Carteret at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
