Basketball Recap: Lehman Comes Up Short

Lehman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cedar Park Timberwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-41 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Lehman lost, don't look at Isaac Rivas. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 12 on his way to 14 points along with five boards and three steals. Rivas is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rolando (Rj) Luna, who posted seven points.

Lehman's defeat dropped their record down to 6-25. As for Cedar Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Lehman nor Cedar Park have any future games scheduled.
