Football Recap: P.K. Yonge Sets Scoring Season-High Against First Baptist Academy

P.K. Yonge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the First Baptist Academy Lions. On the bright side, the 14- point effort marked the Blue Wave's highest-scoring matchup to date.

P.K. Yonge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for First Baptist Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. P.K. Yonge will venture away from home to challenge Oak Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for First Baptist Academy, they will head out to square off against Ida Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
