Baseball Recap: Andrews Comes Up Short

The Andrews Yellowjackets came up short against the York Cougars on Thursday, falling 13-5. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wyatt Bass was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season. Riley Jordan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2. As for York, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Coming up, Andrews will venture away from home to challenge Rocky River at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for York, they will head out to face off against Lancaster at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
