Mulberry and Bishop Moore squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mulberry had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Hornets. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mulberry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ Medina, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Mulberry's loss dropped their record down to 25-9. As for Bishop Moore, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season.

While Mulberry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
