Basketball Recap: Marshalltown Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Marshalltown and Linn-Mar squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Marshalltown had to settle for second. They were dealt an 83-48 defeat at the hands of the Linn-Mar Lions. The Bobcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Marshalltown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Linn-Mar, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.

As of now, neither Marshalltown nor Linn-Mar have any future games scheduled.
