Eastwood won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Saturday too. The Troopers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Troopers.

Eastwood's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18-1 record this season.
