Volleyball Recap: Lyons Wins Going Away Against Loveland Classical

Lyons won the last time they faced Loveland Classical and things went their way on Thursday too. Lyons blew past Loveland Classical 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Lyons.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-20, 25-12.

Michaela Coleman paced Lyons' offense, picking up nine kills. Coleman got some help from Carmen Dumbauld and her 20 assists. Annabelle Hay and Layla Brown kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Lyons' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Loveland Classical, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyons will square off against Front Range Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loveland Classical, they will venture away from home to take on Flatirons Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
