Baseball Recap: Slaughter Community Charter Takes a Loss

After flying high against McKinley last Wednesday, Slaughter Community Charter came back down to earth. The Slaughter Community Charter Knights lost 12-4 to Madison Prep Academy on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with Madison Prep Academy: they've now lost five in a row.

Slaughter Community Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Madison Prep Academy, they moved to 1-9 with that victory, which also ended their 13-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Slaughter Community Charter will head out to square off against Patterson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison Prep Academy, they will square off against East Feliciana at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
