Baseball Recap: Kenosha Bradford Comes Up Short

Kenosha Bradford fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Racine Case on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Red Devils have suffered since April 29th.

Isaiah Barlow put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Barlow was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Kenosha Bradford: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-17 otherwise.

In other batting news, Drew Dammann was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Chris Sexton, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
