Baseball Recap: Cameron Takes a Loss

Cameron made up a huge gap compared to their last game against East Buchanan, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Dragons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 9-7 on Thursday. The Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Jake Feighert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Gannon Hamilton, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for East Buchanan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cameron will take on Lafayette at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Buchanan, they will challenge Trenton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
