Volleyball Game Preview: Julian Eagles vs. West Shores Wildcats + Official Tickets

Julian hasn't had much luck against West Shores recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles will challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Julian barely beat Warner the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted against the Wildcats since October 13, 2022.

Julian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Warner between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-18.

Julian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cami Siraton, who had ten aces and three digs. Siraton is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Janeyris Henriquez also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Julian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, West Shores waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Rams as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-13.

West Shores' record is now 11-7. As for Julian, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Julian suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to West Shores in their previous matchup on Thursday. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
