Recap: Minneapolis Lions vs. Southeast of Saline Trojans

The Minneapolis Lions lost against the Southeast of Saline Trojans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Minneapolis was beaten by Southeast of Saline 63-25. Minneapolis has not had much luck with Southeast of Saline recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Brenton Leeds had a dynamite game for Southeast of Saline, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds. It was the first time this season that Leeds scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Kejr, who scored 12 points.

Minneapolis has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Southeast of Saline, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Minneapolis will take on Republic County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Minneapolis is facing Republic County at the right time seeing as Republic County is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Southeast of Saline, they will head out on the road to take on Ellinwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Southeast of Saline focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
