Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hartfield Academy). Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Joseph Catholic Bruins an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. It was an even better day for McCool Simpson as he scored five goals for his team.

Hartfield Academy pushed their record up to 6-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three games. As for St. Joseph Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
