Softball Recap: Hickman County Takes a Loss

Hickman County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-3 to the Ohio County Eagles.

Audrey Tucker was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. She also launched a home run, marking her first of the season.

Hickman County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Ohio County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6-1.

Looking ahead, Hickman County will challenge Fulton City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ohio County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-7 victory against Hopkins County Central on the 12th.
