Recap: Manning Monarchs vs. Crestwood Knights        
        
		
            
 After a string of four wins, the Manning Monarchs's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They were dealt a  81-40 loss at the hands of Crestwood. Manning has not had much luck with Crestwood recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
 Manning's loss  came despite strong showings from  Lovell Stevenson and  Tavion Carter.  Stevenson  scored 6 points along with 4  blocks, while  Carter  scored 4 points along with 9  rebounds. Carter has been hot recently, having posted eight or more  rebounds the last four times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Peyton Frierson, who  scored 2 points.
 Manning's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Crestwood, the  victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Manning will head out on the road to face off against Scott's Branch at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Crestwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sumter at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Sumter will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Crestwood is ranked tenth).
