The Spartans came up short against the Mountaineers, falling 35-13. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Mountaineers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Wyoming Valley West's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of John Richards, who picked up 198 receiving yards and two scores, and Preston Sninsky, who threw for 92 yards and one touchdown. With that strong performance, Richards is now averaging an impressive 112.9 receiving yards per game.

Wyoming Valley West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Dallas, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
