Basketball Game Preview: Yamhill-Carlton Tigers vs. Banks Braves

Yamhill-Carlton is 1-7 against Banks since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Yamhill-Carlton Tigers will take on the Banks Braves at 6:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Yamhill-Carlton lost to Astoria at home by a 50-36 margin.

Meanwhile, Banks entered their tilt with Corbett on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They had just enough and edged the Cardinals out 38-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Braves have posted since January 3, 2024.

Banks pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Yamhill-Carlton, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.

Things could have been worse for Yamhill-Carlton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-50 loss to Banks in their previous meeting back in January. Can Yamhill-Carlton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
