Basketball Recap: Lafayette Commodores vs. Corinth Warriors
The Lafayette Commodores waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They had just enough and edged Corinth out 50-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lafayette also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
When it comes to explaining why Corinth lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kylon Fields. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fields has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffen Enis, who scored nine points.
The win got Lafayette back to even at 13-13. As for Corinth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.
Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Corinth also has no future games currently scheduled.
