Volleyball Game Preview: Providence Christian Academy Storm vs. Fayette County Tigers

The Providence Christian Academy Storm will challenge the Fayette County Tigers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Providence Christian Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Emmy Moody was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six aces and four digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Moody wasn't the only good servers: Providence Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Fayette County took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Troup County.

Fayette County was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly three points. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22.

Fayette County now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Providence Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 29-7.
