Pomeroy won against Tekoa-Rosalia on Saturday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Pomeroy Pirates strolled past the Rosalia Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 56-39. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Pomeroy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Rosalia, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Pomeroy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 51-39 defeat against Asotin on the 14th. As for Rosalia, they will venture away from home to take on Colton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
