Gavin Barker, Crestview's leading hitter, solidified his role on Monday. Western Reserve had no answer to Barker as he went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those doubles were Barker's first of the season.

Barker's strong effort led Crestview over Western Reserve and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
