This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Gladiators back in January, they had to take a 47-44 defeat.

Coronado's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Taylor, who posted five points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Jalyn Jarboe, who put up ten points.
