Basketball Recap: Garrett Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Garrett can now relate to. They took a 43-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DeKalb Barons on Thursday. The Railroaders haven't had much luck with the Barons recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Garrett's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for DeKalb, they moved to 14-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Garrett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for DeKalb, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
