Volleyball Game Preview: Pulaski Red Raiders vs. Green Bay Preble Hornets

The Pulaski Red Raiders will take on the Green Bay Preble Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pulaski will be strutting in after a victory while Green Bay Preble will be coming in after a loss.

Pulaski will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Notre Dame Academy, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Red Raiders narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tritons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Raiders have posted against the Tritons since September 20, 2018.

Pulaski was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Green Bay Preble came up short against Kettle Moraine on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Hornets have struggled against the Lasers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12.

Green Bay Preble's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Pulaski, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-14.

Pulaski skirted past Green Bay Preble 3-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Hornets' Emm Sedenquist, who had 17 digs and three aces.
