Basketball Recap: West Washington Takes a Loss

West Washington lost against Loogootee back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The West Washington Senators took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loogootee Lions. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Washington's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Loogootee, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Washington will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perry Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Loogootee, they will be playing at home against Gibson Southern at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
