Basketball Recap: Magnolia Takes a Loss

Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Estancia Eagles, falling 70-33. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sentinels of the 53-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Estancia, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Magnolia won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pacifica at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Estancia, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oxford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 3.
