Jordan had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Paetow Panthers a 2-0 shutout. The Warriors' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Jordan's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Paetow, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jordan and Paetow will both be playing Tompkins the next time they take the pitch. Jordan will host Tompkins at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Paetow will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
