Flag Football Recap: Mikyla Wilson Leads Sprayberry's Defense on Wednesday

While Sprayberry didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Mill Creek Hawks by a score of 13-6 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Yellow Jackets have won by exactly seven points.

Sprayberry didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Mikyla Wilson. Those three interceptions set a new season-high mark for her.

The win made it two in a row for Sprayberry and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Mill Creek, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Sprayberry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-0 loss against North Gwinnett on the 22nd. As for Mill Creek, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Winder-Barrow at 6:30 p.m. on November 3.
