Scappoose faced Hidden Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Indians came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 8-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won three contests in a row.

Scappoose pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Hidden Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scappoose will head out to square off against Seaside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
