The Horizon Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the DeLand Bulldogs on Thursday. Horizon got a great performance from Denver Patton as he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. What's more, Patton posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
