Basketball Recap: KIPP Bold City Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

KIPP Bold City waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 59-41 win over the Stanton Blue Devils. Given the Greyhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 720th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

KIPP Bold City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mikell Reddick led the charge by going 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds. Reddick is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kayland Byirt, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks.
