Softball Recap: Grand County Takes a Loss

Grand County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-4 to the Duchesne Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-8 on Friday.

Grand County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hope Shumway, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Grand County's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Duchesne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Grand County will host Beaver at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up.
