Softball Recap: Stover Takes a Loss

Stover couldn't beat Adrian on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Bulldogs lost 15-5 to the Blackhawks. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Blackhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Stover saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lainee Menning, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Menning's first of the season. Another was Molly Shadwick, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Stover's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Adrian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-9.

As of now, neither Stover nor the Blackhawks have any future games scheduled.
