Baseball Game Preview: West Sabine Tigers vs. Hemphill Hornets

The West Sabine Tigers will head out to square off against the Hemphill Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

West Sabine is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since March 6th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Groveton by a score of 6-4. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hemphill can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over Colmesneil.

West Sabine now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Hemphill, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

West Sabine came out on top in a nail-biter against Hemphill when the teams last played on April 1st, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
