Basketball Recap: Lincoln High Victorious

Blue Springs South came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Lincoln High, but Brady Nick wouldn't allow it. The Links walked away with a 71-60 victory over the Jaguars on Saturday for which the team can thank Nick, who posted 24 points and seven boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lincoln High's points.

Another player making a difference was Russell Rucks, who earned 15 points and five rebounds. He has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season.

Lincoln High now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Blue Springs South, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
