Basketball Recap: Oak Creek Takes a Loss

Oak Creek was the 47-40 winner over Kenosha Bradford when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Oak Creek Knights and the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils didn't end well, with the Oak Creek Knights falling 46-30.

Kenosha Bradford's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alise Keys, who went 6-for-9 on her way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. What's more, Keys also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Te'Lisha Brown, who posted 12 points.

Oak Creek's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 15-8. As for Kenosha Bradford, they pushed their record up to 21-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Oak Creek will venture away from home to take on Pius XI Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kenosha Bradford, they will host Racine Case at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Racine Case knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Kenosha Bradford likes a good challenge.
