Softball Recap: Pope County Takes a Loss

Pope County lost against Benton back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Rangers, falling 16-6.

Pope County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Fasolo, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Pope County's record is now 3-6. As for Benton, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Pope County will challenge Gallatin County at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Benton, they will take on Johnston City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
