Soccer Recap: Estacado Comes Up Short

Estacado fell victim to Greenwood and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenwood Rangers. That's two games in a row now that the Matadors have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Estacado and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Greenwood, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Estacado will head out to face off against Big Spring at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenwood, they will welcome Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
