Basketball Recap: Holt Comes Up Short

Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 43-31 to the Prattville Christian Academy Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ironmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-38 back in November of 2024.

Holt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Holt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 68-34 loss against Bibb County on the 9th. Prattville Christian Academy has also already played their next contest, a 44-39 victory against Marbury on the 10th.
