Basketball Recap: Santa Paula Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Santa Paula has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Malibu, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

Santa Paula won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Viewpoint at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. Viewpoint knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Santa Paula likes a good challenge. As for Malibu, they will head out to take on Carpinteria at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
