Basketball Game Preview: Ramsey Rams vs. Patoka Warriors

The Ramsey Rams will challenge the Patoka Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ramsey has now lost 15 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 7.

Ramsey came up short against Mulberry Grove on Tuesday, falling 86-62.

Despite the defeat, Ramsey had strong showings from Aaron Trexler, who went 7-for-9 to rack up 18 points, and Waylon Williams, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 15 points. That's the most points Trexler has posted since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Owen Warner, who earned eight points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Patoka, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 58-33 margin over Beecher City on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-6.

Patoka's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Ramsey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-22.
