Basketball Recap: Cedar Starts Season with Win Against Manti

Cedar had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 52-44 win over the Manti Templars on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Reds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Having lost for the first time this season, Manti fell to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Layton Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Manti, they will welcome South Sevier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
