Softball Recap: Huntington Huntsmen vs. Washington Blue Lions

In what's become a running theme this season, Huntington gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Washington Blue Lions as the Huntington Huntsmen made off with a 12-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Huntington.

Mackenzie Paugh made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Paugh has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Paugh was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Huntington let Allie Baker and Savannah Bushatz loose on the outfield. Baker went 4-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Bushatz scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. Bushatz hasn't dropped below three hits for five straight games.
