Softball Recap: Gustine Comes Up Short

After flying high against Delhi last Wednesday, Gustine came back down to earth. Gustine came up short against the Le Grand Bulldogs on Friday, falling 16-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Reds in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Gustine's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Le Grand, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gustine will challenge rival Stone Ridge Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Le Grand is set to square off against their familiar foe Delhi at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
